Tropical Flowers
( I feel Summer in the air already!)
Ahh, the month long unplanned hiatus. Have I mentioned it's my final semester in college and I graduate in less then two weeks? YES! I'm so excited. But, let me hurry and pop this post out cause this girl has homework to do!
Recently Julia from Messy Mansion released some new sheer polishes that she used to color in stamping and she called it "lead lighting." Although I didn't use her polishes, I did try my hand at the technique and I have to say, I LOVE IT! Why didn't I think of this earlier? This is one of my favorite manis of all time. Take a look.

I really don't love this hand pose, but I wanted to show all the fingers together, so, there you have it. |
For the image I used was Deshika Infinity 42 over a base of OPI Alpine Snow and I colored the stamps in with L'Oreal Miss Candy Jelly collection.
And, that's what I'll leave you with! I hope you like this look as much as I do!
-Besos, Pooka.
So many beautiful details, I completely understand that this one is your favorite, it looks unique and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI wish you all the best at your collage graduation!
So pretty! I have to try this technique! Is the L'Oreal Jelly collection easy to find in stores?
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love this technique and it was really simple, too. I actually purchased the entire collection on Amazon for $14.99 shipped. I bet there are still some left. I loved how they were so vibrant, yet allowed the stamp to show through so well.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! It was my fiance's favorite too. All he could say was "wow!" haha. And thank you about graduation. I'm really excited to be done with school for a little while. It will be nice to breathe again. ;)
ReplyDeleteAmazing! I love it! Now I want to find that collection but I bet it's gonna be tough to find it in Canada (amazon doesn't love us like it loves the US). Congrats on finishing school! Must be a big weight off your shoulders!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Six days! :D I can't wait to breathe again.... then start studying for my GRE. (The never ending life of being a student) Hey, I heard too that Ross is carrying them if you have those in Canada, you should check it out!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have Ross either. The trials and tribulations of a polish addict up north...
